Berberis Thunbergii ‘Orange Ice’ is a colourful shrub with a neat, bushy, columnar habit.

It has a columnar growth habit.

Depending on the age of the foliage, it subtly alters colours between red and sensational orange hues with each leaf being edged in gold.

This effect’. In spring, just as the leaves begin to emerge, it produces short racemes of small, dainty yellow flowers.

Tiny yellow flowers attract pollinating insects in late spring followed by small, scarlet fruits.

A deciduous shrub that is undemanding and easy to care for.

Perfect for planting towards the front of sunny well drained borders where it will provide a colourful focal point.
