Carrot is one of the least demanding of crops and probably the widest grown vegetable in British gardens.

Flakkee is easy to grow and although considered a main crop variety, can be successionally planted to give a continuous crop, producing large, thick roots.

It has a very good colour and flavour. It will thrive in even rather poor soils, but give it some encouragement and you will be amazed and the results.
