A fast growing variety, Rubens is a pinkish form of the usual white Clematis montana.

Vigorous rambling climbers, with twining stems that produce a mass of scented flowers in May and June.

May also produce a second smaller flush of blooms in late summer.

Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
