Hardy Fern Athyrium Niponicum Metallicum is a good choice for a shady spot

Often reffered to as the Japanese Painted Fern it produces silvery fronds and as the seasons pass the foliage changes too through tints of silver, purple and red.

Fully hardy ideal for woodland gardens, damp borders or the edge of ponds.
