Geranium ‘Samobor’ often referred to as mourning widow is noted for its striking leaf markings distinguishing this useful ground covering geranium from other varieties.

The leaf is relatively large for the type and zoned with chocolate brown, similar to that of a pelargonium.

Dark reddish-maroon flowers are produced in summer.

This variety has a compact, tight appearance. Easy to grow even in deep, dry shade.
