One of the most famous varieties but I have yet to see it eaten first thing in the morning in France.
Long roots of red with a white tip. Sow little and often. From February under cloches through the summer at 10 day intervals to September and October back to cloches for a regular supply of small fresh roots.
Sow in shallow drills 1cm deep in rows 15 cm apart.
Aim for a plant at every 2cm. Sow too thickly and if not thinned they will run straight to seed. ,
