Species Tulip Wilsoniana originates from mountainous areas in Central Asia.

It is a dwarf variety reaching just 15cm in height and having pretty red flowers with a central black dot.

Its native habitat is quite dry, so the tulip is best planted somewhere well drained in a spot that is sunny during the growing period.

Ideal for rockeries , rock gardens.
