Tiger Cross F1 is a traditional looking fruit of dark green with lighter green stripes.
It has a bush habit and can be harvested young as courgette or left until 30cm long for marrows.
Marrows can be cut before the first frost and stored in a frost free but cool area and used during the winter.
However, unlike courgette the skin is tough and is either removed before cooking or just after.
Raise and grow as courgettes.
Delicious roasted with a little olive oil, they make for a fresh accompaniment to any dinner.
