Uncinia Rubra Firedance makes a bold splash of color, a compact little sedge.

Its common name is New Zealand Red Hook Sedge, with its shiny red-bronze foliage its a great plant for a structured display with green foliage plants.

Grows best in full to partial sun and in damp, rich soil.

It will do well in boggy areas and around water features and ponds.

Firedance will brighten the rock garden, mixed border, and it also looks great in containers.
