A semi-evergreen perennial with a spreading habit.

Masses of lavender-blue star-shaped flowers bloom in summer, releasing a glorious fragrance into your garden, hence the name.

The flowers also attract the butterflies.

Prefers moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
