A newish form with dark purplish toned foliage and smoky pink to reddish flat heads of flower during summer.

Flowering well into autumn providing masses of colour.

The large clusters of vibrant flowers are rich in nectar and a firm favourite amongst bees and butterflies, held high on strong dark stems they resist flopping and remain upright throughout the winter.

Prefers well-drained soil in sun or part shade.

Fully hardy perennial.
