SunSparkler® ‘Blue Elf’ is the world’s first Sedum x Orostachys-hybrid.

It is a crossing between two species, which makes it a real breakthrough in plant breeding.

‘Blue Elf’ was bred by Chris Hansen of Garden Solutions in the USA.

It combined the best of both parents.

Its steel-blue rosettes and numerous lateral branches resemble the Orostachys genus.

The tight clusters of dark pink flowers come from the Sedum genus.

And as a bonus, ‘Blue Elf’ has light fragrant flowers!

An easy to grow ground cover that will look good for months on end, Each spring the succulent foliage emerges and forms a carpet, which in late summer, is topped with sprays of flowers.

A lovely (and easy to grow) plant that will flourish in a sunny spot.

It also effective in patio pots & Troughs.

Soil: moderately fertile, well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil
